Our friend Jo Steel was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

In June 2026, Jo had surgery that successfully removed the tumor that had been causing seizures and affecting her motor skills. Though the surgery went well, Jo is still not out of the woods. Jo will need to undergo multiple follow up exams over the next few months and even years.

Between the time away from work and the travel required for the exams, Jo will need all the help she can get!

We’re helping out by offering “Train for Jo” Seminars! These are donation-based training events where we come to your facility and share our knowledge in Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Kickboxing, or MMA! It’s your choice what you want us to cover at the seminar.
